We charge a small fee for your consultation which can be applied to surgery should you decide to schedule a procedure. We require a 10% non-refundable deposit to secure a surgery date. This deposit will be applied to your ultimate balance, which we’ll collect at your pre-op appointment 2-3 weeks before surgery.
As you go through the pre-op process, spend some time reviewing our cancellation policies to make sure you understand them clearly. Generally speaking, the further into the process you cancel, the less we can refund. Of course, if you are not cleared by a physician for surgery and cannot reschedule, or if Dr. Kaufman or Dr. Davis should cancel surgery, you will be entitled to a full refund.
If you’re planning breast reduction in Sacramento and your insurance will cover the procedure, we’ll charge our surgeon’s fees to you and bill your carrier for other fees such as anesthesiology. Since you will have paid for surgery at your pre-op appointment, you’ll keep the insurance reimbursement. Kaufman & Davis Plastic Surgery does not participate directly in any insurance plans.
Don’t worry if all these details are not yet crystal clear. We’ll take all the time you need to make sure you understand everything related to our fees and payment policies. Call us at (916) 983-9895 if you’re ready to start the conversation, or simply request a consultation online. We look forward to working with you.
