Meet the Staff

Meet Kate

My name is Kate... I am a nurse here and the better half of the fabulous Dr Kaufman! I was a critical care nurse for 15 years before we moved to the Sacramento area, but having three kids, I thought it was time to settle down a bit. I do a little bit of everything here, but you will most likely meet me during your consultation, or I will be your nurse in the operating room. We have an amazing staff that I am very proud of and would love to introduce you to each one of them personally.

Meet Amanda

Amanda is a new member to our OR team... she is a scrub tech with a lot of experience and has been a great asset to us. Amanda splits her time with us and another surgery center... all the while being a busy mom and wife. Amanda always has a smile on her face and is a joy to work with.

Meet Cecelia

Cece is another one of our scrub techs... CeCe makes all of us feel very old because when we play Name That Tune... she will routinely come back with comments like "Who is Led Zeppelin?" That's just not right! CeCe is keeping herself very busy these days with her new house and 2 little girls!

Meet Christine

Christine is one of our newest members to join our front office reception team. Christine comes with a background in business services. She is a Mom with 2 children and 2 Chinchillas. Yep... you read it right... Chinchillas not Chihuahuas. Outside of the office Christine loves to be outdoors with her children. She enjoys taking her kids to the water parks, bicycling and shopping.

Meet Colleen

Colleen is one of our fabulous OR nurses that you will meet on your big day. Nothing fazes Colleen because she use to work in the Emergency Department and has seen it all. She has lots of good stories to keep you entertained! Outside of our office, Colleen keeps busy with her two young kids and fire-fighting husband.

Meet Connie

Connie rocks! She is one of our Medical Assistants that basically does EVERYTHING! You will meet Connie in the clinic during your consult or pre-op visit. Connie will also be the one coaching you through your post operative period. Connie has a ton of experience and can help make your journey easier. Outside of our office, Connie enjoys spending time with her husband, family and her grandchildren. (Yep... she's a grandma!) and loves the outdoors including kayaking.

Meet Christopher

Chris is also a new member to our OR team. He is a scrub tech with experience in the Plastic surgery world. Chris is very quiet (probably because he can't get a word in edge wise with all these women here). Outside of the office Chris enjoys working out, hanging out with friends, spending time with family and traveling around the world.

Meet Donna

Donna is also a woman of many talents... she has been in the medical field for over 30 years and wears many different hats for us. When she is not helping me stay organized as our Administrative Assistant... she acts as one of our Patient Care Coordinators and one of our Medical Assistants. If you don't meet Donna during your consultation, you will meet her when you are recovering. Donna can really help walk you through your surgical experience with us from start to finish. When we occasionally give Donna the day off you can find her helping her husband with their 2 businesses', spending time with her 2 grown daughters, or donating her time to help needy animals (she is a sucker for our furry friends!).

Meet Heather

Heather is one of our OR nurses. She will greet you on your big day and stay with you through your procedure. Heather is great fun and will put you at ease when you might otherwise be a bit nervous! Outside of our office Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and two small children.

Meet Jocelyn

... she has been with us since the beginning. Jocelyn is a nurse that started her career in the Emergency Department and now has been an Aesthetic Nurse for about ten years. Along with her great sense of humor, she is our lead Advanced Dermal Injector... who is truly an artist when it comes to Botox/Dysport and Dermal filler injections. Jocelyn is also a Certified Laser Instructor. When we occasionally let Jocelyn have a day off, she can be found spending time with her very active family at the pool, boating or at her husband or boys dirt bike races.

Meet Juli

Juli is another one of our amazing OR nurses! Like all of our gals, Juli is also an ICU nurse when she is not with us and nothing phases her. Juli will make you feel great when you are prepping for your surgery and is a true believer in Better Nursing Through Pharmacology! At home Juli juggles her crazy family life and makes it all look so easy.

Meet Katie

Katie is awesome. You will also meet Katie when you come for your surgery as she is one of our nurses in the OR. Katie has a great sense of humor (though she doesn't like to get up early...) and she will put all your fears at ease when you come in (especially after she starts your IV and gives you your cocktails!). You might even see Katie at one of your post op appointments as sometimes we drag her into the clinic when it is crazy. Outside of work Katie works as an ICU nurse... and loves spending time in the gym (she's ripped) and also enjoys the outdoors.

Meet Kimberly

Kimberly is one of or Front Desk gals who you will meet when you first call. She has been with us since we moved to this area and has been a very dedicated employee. Kimberly will get you scheduled appropriately and make sure that you have all the information you need to educate yourself on the procedure(s) you are interested in. Kimberly still commutes to Stanford Hospital on the weekends to work in their ICU... and then back to El Dorado Hills during the week to work with us and be a mom to her two teenage kids. Talk about never getting a day off!

Meet Kristen

We all love Kris. Her nickname is "Cinderella" because she has every last quality Cinderella possesses. I swear she is one of the nicest people we know... and makes everyone feel like they are family. Kris is a great OR nurse and you will love spending time with her. When she is not here with us, Kris works at Mercy Folsom Hospital. At home, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter.

Meet Lindsay

... though we lovingly call her Lohan! Lindsay is a fireball that you will meet when you first call the office. Lindsay is a straight shooter with a ton of information... when she is not helping get our patients scheduled... she adds to the 'comedy central' that is an everyday occurrence in our office. Lindsay is a no-nonsense gal that keeps us all in line! Outside of work, Lindsay keeps busy with her new house, hanging out with her family and friends, and playing with her VERY BIG German Shepherd Warren and Jack Russell Walter.

Meet Lisa

Lisa is another one of our fabulous OR nurses... Lisa is great with all of our patients, has a quirky sense of humor and will make your surgical experience a breeze. Lisa's a weirdo. She loves to get up EARLY and work LONG days! She is our "Go to Gal" when we need extra help. When not here making us laugh, she juggles two other jobs and is a dedicated mom and grandma.

Meet Maureen

... she is our amazing Esthetician. Maureen (or Mo as we call her) has over 25 years of experience making people beautiful. Mo is always up to date on the latest and greatest skin care and products. I love Mo because she is no-nonsense! She is never pushy and she loves to figure out what will work best for each person. She has a great relationship with her patients and really takes her time with everyone. Mo is super flexible and accommodating... and you will often find her coming in on her day off to do a Blue Peel or something for one of our surgical patients in the operating room. At home, Mo enjoys spending time with her Fire Chief husband and family and riding horses.

Meet Mia

Sweet Mia! Mia is also a member of the fantastic receptionist team up front. You will meet Mia on the phone when you first call or when you come in. She is so sweet, always trying to make everyone feel at home. Mia goes out of her way to help everyone and we love having her on our team. She is currently away at school studying hard to become a Special Education Teacher but will occasionally still fill in here when she can. Mia loves spending time with her husband and taking trips to Fresno to visit their families.

Meet Paula

How do I describe Paula? Paula basically does it all. We met Paula when we first built our Operating Room because she was the nurse that was inspecting us to pass our AAAASF accreditation. Paula is a Jack of All Trades... she inspects facilities like ours to make sure they are operating above the standard. She is also an amazing nurse injector of Botox/Dysport and Dermal fillers, consult nurse, post op nurse, and occasional OR nurse... Like Jocelyn, she is also a certified instructor for aesthetic lasers and will be happy to rid you of unwanted hair or brown spots... all while making you laugh. In her spare time Paula runs her own business. If that wasn't enough... she has over 20 years in the ARMY and is still a Captain in the Army Reserves (though she make us call her General!).

Meet Sherry

Sherry has been a HUGE asset to our team...joining us in May 2008 she brought over ten years of cosmetic surgery experience with her. Sherry is our main Patient Care Coordinator who you will most likely meet at your first visit to our office. Sherry will help you through the scheduling process, answer all your questions about finances, and make sure you are scheduled appropriately. In her spare time, Sherry and her husband enjoy running, cycling, swimming and walking their pint sized Chihuahua Milo.

Meet Samantha

Sam (as we call her) is our right hand gal in the Operating Room! Sam is the one that always has a bright smile on her face...(no matter how early it is in the morning)... as she gets the operating room ready to go. Sam has years of experience as a scrub tech... mostly in plastics... and is here every day to assist with your surgery. Sam runs a tight ship here! She keeps us well organized and super efficient. At home Sam enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 teenagers.
